Let’s meet another one of our wholesale customers, the amazing Repton Coffee Corner!
We had a chat with Courtney about how it all started, how the cafe customers enjoy their Lost Sheep Speciality Coffee and what you can expect when visiting them.
- Tell us about yourselves! How did Repton Coffee Corner begin?
We have been friends for over 15 years, we decided to start The Coffee Corner as felt it would be an interesting change from the busy, stressful jobs we currently worked (a different stress haha) We wanted to bring a unique, trendy and comfortable environment for people to meet friends, family and loved ones; and socialise over our delicious, speciality coffee and home baked sweet and savoury treats. - What made you choose Lost Sheep Coffee as your coffee provider?
From Day one we knew we wanted to provide a speciality coffee experience. We loved Lost Sheep coffee before choosing them to become our supplier. Whilst exploring our local coffee options, we spoke to Stuart and he, and the delicious coffee, really stood out from the rest. He was really helpful during our journey and invested a lot of time into the start-up of our business. We love the taste of the coffee, the look and feel of the brand and what Lost Sheep stand for – it was a no-brainer! - Other than great-tasting coffee, why should people come and visit Repton Coffee Corner?
Well, opening up in the middle of a heat wave has meant Iced Lattes are without doubt the top seller! i suspect this We offer a comfy and cosy environment for people to relax inside and have a spacious outside seating area for those who want to enjoy their coffee whilst watching the local community buzz by. With quiet corners perfect for workers and our fun kiddies corner with games, books and puzzles, we feel as though we have something for everyone. As well as our great tasting speciality coffee, we have a selection of delicious homemade fresh cakes and pastries which get delivered daily by local bakers. We have a lunch menu and offer vegan and gluten-free alternatives as much as possible. We also offer a wide range of delicious milkshakes and smoothies for those fancying something cooler. - If you weren’t running Repton Coffee Corner, what would you be doing instead?
We would still be in our old roles, that being, Lynsey was a market research manager and Courtney was a social worker. - Finally, what’s your go-to song on the ultimate coffee shop soundtrack?
We have lots of Favourites, if we had to choose it would probably be something acoustic-like, better together by ‘Us the duo.’
